SAI's Medical Clinic is excited to announce that it has expanded its medical program to provide free high quality medical care for children, orphans and pregnant women. SAI provides access to medicines and medical services that are unaffordable for many people in Venezuela. Our highly skilled medical staff provides exceptional primary and specialty care to treat patients. SAI has a full time medical team and welcomes onboard a new pediatrician that has over 10 years experience in the field.

SAI has provided medical care for over 830 patients in the past three months. SAI continues to provide pediatric care, physical examinations, pregnancy care, ultrasound imaging, newborn wellness, gynecology, obstetrics, and nutritional supplements at no cost.

We need your help to provide continuous and additional medical services and medicines. We are making a difference in the lives of infants, children and pregnant women. Become a monthly donor and help us save lives!

SAI medical program has provided no cost medical care to over 400 children in the past three months in Venezuela. SAI is providing medical care to children from low income families who do not have the ability to afford medical care. In addition, SAI medical staff visits different orphanages each week providing medical care to the orphans. Children are receiving full medical examinations, vitamins to boost the immune system, and medications.

Magaly is a young pregnant woman with three kids. Each of the children received an examination from the pediatrician.  Magaly was given a prenatal examination, ultrasound, pregnancy vitamins and suppplements. Since January, over 50 expectant mothers received medical examinations, ultrasounds of their babies, vitamins and supplements to boost the health of the mother and child in the womb.

Our medical team and pediatrician partners have been supporting and improving the health and well-being of children, teenagers, families, and all communities. We are maintaining our biosecurity protocol to keep our patients and community safe. Most of our campaign has been focused  on detecting chronic diseases at early ages. Due to low income and malnutrition of pregnant mothers, the high rate of neuropathology diseases in newborns has increased drastically in Venezuela. After our pediatrician evaluation, some children were referred for specialized examination that include laboratory testing, EKG, and kidney functions.

Thanks to your support, we are saving the lives of mothers' and children. Your support has made an enormous impact for families and orphans in Venezuela.

This beautiful girl, Emily, is getting her pediatric check-up for the first time. The pediatrician is giving a comprehensive examination,  including checking vision, and hearing.  Like Emily, many children in Venezuela have never seen a doctor since birth.

SAI's medical program has treated over 130 children and pregnant women at its location for the past three months. The clinic offers free medical services. SAI additionally provides free vitamins, antibiotics and other essential medicines. In addition, our medical team visits orphanages every two weeks providing medical care for more than 115 orphans. The orphans receive physical exams and medications to treat specific conditions.  Our goal is to improve the quality of life of the communities that we serve.

SAIs medical program is providing pregnant women access to ultrasound exams and prenatal care. Our medical program helps mothers reduce the risk and complications during their pregnancy. They receive medicines, vitamins, formulas for their newborns, and continuous check-ups. Our purpose is to support mothers who are in their greatest time of need.

SAI Offers Medical Services to Underprivileged Children & Mothers

In Venezuela, there is insufficient money to provide medical care for poor. The public hospitals have a shortage of resources to care for expectant mothers and children. That's the reason South American Initiative (SAI) is offering free medical care to children; many who have never seen a doctor since the day they were born.

Children can be seen by a doctor, get a prescription for medication and over the counter drugs, without charge. Expectant mothers are offered free ultrasound images of their baby in their womb. These images create joy and excitement for the expectant parents and the whole family.

SAI Offers New Medical Programs at the Clinic

SAI offers a medical program for expectant mothers. Pregnant women receive an ultrasound, gynecological exam and prenatal vitamins during their pregnancy.

Women and Children Get Free Medical Services

During the past two months, SAI medical staff has provided free medical checkups to 27 children, 45 orphans, 16 women and  distributed 16 containers of baby formulas and bottles of prenatal vitamins for pregnant women.

Thanks to your generous donations, we are able to provide life changing services to expectant mothers and children.

SAI Children's Medical Clinic Now Open

Dear SAI Donor,

We would like to wish you and your family a happy new year!

Thanks to your generous donations, our new children's clinic is providing medical assistance to 195 patients per month. With a little extra funding, the clinic has the capacity to grow and care for additional children.

That's the reason the new children's clinic is so important for Venezuela's local communities. Early intervention for medical conditions in a child's life provides for a healthy future for these children.

Since Venezuelan hospitals are are no longer able to care for their sick with limited resources and staff, the new SAI medical clinic for children is filling the gap to help keep children alive and healthy.

In addition, SAI also continues to provide our orphans with vital needs such as food, educational supplies, and medicines.

Our goal is to be supportive for all those in Venezuela who are in their deepest time of need. Our doctors  provide medical care for  every child  that walks through our door.

SAI wishes you and your family to be safe and healthy during  the new year.

Sincerely,
Steven Malca,
President
