The women are doing very well with their initial batch of 400 hens. They are maintaining a pretty regular postura of 95% -- meaning they collect eggs each day from 95% of their hens! After initial shyness in selling, they are now experienced and their eggs sell out easily each day.
Another challenge has been to keep track of what they are doing. Most of the women have not had much, if any, schooling. However, they have developed a reporting process and format that is simple and informative. You will find one at the end of this report.
So, now the women are beginning to think about what comes next, they have another hen house that requires a bit of repair. But their biggest need is for more hens. Can you please consider donating for more hens? Remember one hen costs $11, but it is a sustainble investment in the hands of the women...
Thank you.
