Project Report | Mar 22, 2022
Our 2021 journey

By Camila Saiden | Project Leader

Dear donor,

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful support. Through your donation you are helping us make 1,200 children smile and daydream and of all the worthy causes in the world, we are honored you chose ours to support.

In this report, we aim to let you know our accomplishments of 2021 and show you how your generous donation was used.

  • Due to the pandemic, we stopped doing our monthly visits and as an organization, we didn't wanted to miss the chance to celebrate Children’s day with our kids. We created a parade called “Carnaval de los Sueños”, whose main purpose was to remind the kids and volunteers how even in difficult times, dreams do come true. This event was held in 3 communities: Texán Cámara, Petac and San Antonio Tzacalá, making an impact on 400 children and their families with the help of 100 volunteers. We gave each kid a present and all of this by following the COVID-19 community guidelines.
  • As we also made four visits with “Misión Soñadora” to San Antonio Tzacalá with the purpose of promoting education for the children in the community with Vagones de Sonrisas, making use of laughter therapy with Contagia Alegria, creating bonds of friendship between children and volunteers with Amigos Para Siempre and in the last visit, our 3 programs joined together and delivered more than 40 kits with school supplies to the children.
  • In the second semester of 2021, we worked closely with each member of our organization and launched our event “Operación Navidad” which was our first big event in 2 years and it was held at the Anáhuac Mayab University. We invited 350 children from different communities and with the help of more than 150 volunteers and staff, we had a fun day playing different activities and shows.
  • Lastly, we planned our projects for 2022 in each of our programs.

We invite you to follow our 2022 journey closely and ask you to share our project with your friends, colleagues and family. By doing this, you help us spread the word about our purpose and continue to grow our community in the GlobalGiving platform.

We couldn't have done any of this without your help and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
