Help us acquire a pickup truck to transport native tree seedlings, tools, and volunteers, enabling us to scale urban reforestation and fight climate change in Brazilian cities. We have already planted hundreds of trees and mobilized communities, but limited transportation is slowing our impact, this vehicle will allow us to reach more areas, plant faster, and restore greener, cooler, and more resilient urban environments, reducing carbon emissions and advancing UN 2030 climate goals.
Cities in Brazil, such as Sao Paulo, Campinas, Guarulhos, are facing rising temperatures, poor air quality, and a lack of green spaces, especially in vulnerable communities. Every day without action means hotter cities and lost opportunities to restore urban life. Tree planting is proven climate solution, but one of our biggest barriers is logistics. Without a dedicated vehicle, we rely on borrowed cars and costly rentals, limiting the speed and scale of our climate response.
This project will fund a pickup truck, the vehicle that will unlock our ability to scale climate action. It will carry native tree seedlings, tools, and volunteers to the communities that need them most. We have already planted 2,000+ trees, distributed 28,000+ seedlings, and led 60+ actions with an average of 100 people involved, uniting public, private, and volunteer sectors. With this vehicle, we will expand faster, plant more, and reach thousands more people.
Over the long term, this project will enable the planting of 3,000+ trees, helping absorb up to 600 tons of CO2 over time, reduce urban heat islands, and improve air quality across Brazilian cities. It will benefit 10,000+ residents with cooler environments, access to green spaces, and food from native fruit trees. By strengthening our capacity, we will scale continuous planting, empower communities, restore ecosystems, and build more resilient and climate-adapted cities for generations to come.
