Dear Supporter,
We want to be direct with you. There are no new updates to share for this campaign right now.
The reason remains the same: donations have not reached the level needed to move forward. Construction on the 10 classrooms in Afrin remains paused. Teacher salaries and learning materials are still on hold. And the children are still waiting.
This is not a new problem, and it is not one we can solve alone. Over 40% of school-aged children in Northwest Syria are still out of school. Every day without a safe classroom leaves them more vulnerable to child labor, exploitation, and a future shaped by hardship instead of opportunity. We have the plan. We have the team. What we need is the funding to begin.
Your past support made a difference, and we are grateful. If you are able to give again, your donation can help us restart this project and bring us closer to opening the doors of a real school for children who have lost so much.
Please consider donating today. Every contribution moves us closer to the day these classrooms are filled with students.
With hope and determination,
The Smile Givers International Team
