PROJECT REPORT
HELP TRAIN HUNDREDS OF SINGLE MOTHERS IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - JANUARY 2023

Introduction

This quarterly summary is made based on the results obtained in compliance with our 2022 annual operating plan and, of course. as a response to human beings, companies and groups), who with their solidarity have made donations of different types (cash contributions, transfers and gifts in kind) so that we continue to develop the vision of this initiative.
It is with great pleasure that we present the advances obtained in this quarter.

Below is a summary of each of the initiatives proposed for this particular project.

1.1. Advances in infrastructure of the Technical Training Center

The practice laboratory of our center is fully operational thanks to the various donations received, and especially a special contribution from the company Airbandb through GlobalGiving. We have been able to advance 95% of the remodeling of our FUNCOMAS Technical Training Center.

To make it possible, we have made significant investments in the remodeling, adaptation and preparation of our facilities to receive the students and the laboratory of our beauty academy.

The space we have is not a very large location, but it has been very useful for our workshops. Currently our center has a practice laboratory for beauty and aesthetics courses in general, and a classroom with capacity for 20 students, fully equipped and air-conditioned, which are permanently operational.

1.2. Gender Equality Awareness

During the period September-December 2022 we have held 3 conferences on Gender Equality, Rights and Civic Duties and with the participation of 113 women and young people, especially students. These activities are intended to generate a positive impact on the problems of intrafamily violence and discrimination of Dominican women through the awareness of the affected population.

These events have been well received by our community, thanks to the participation and hiring of highly trained professionals to offer these services. Especially doctors, psychologists, lawyers and social workers.
In addition, the support of our group of volunteers has been very valuable.

1.1. Crafts and recycling workshops.

We have continued the recycled craft workshops, with the realization of our well-known decorative bottles. The bottles are made by our students using mostly recycled materials and are then sold as a way to obtain resources for the foundation.
