By Allan Perrins | Project Leader
Dear Friends,
Let me start by thanking everyone who has donated towards our project.
We are currently $4,537 shy of our $5,000 goal, but we remain optimistic that once donors see what we have achieved over the past year, they will be encouraged to contribute to our initiative aimed at ending pet homelessness in the Cape Metro.
Over the past year (2025) the Animal Welfare Society of South Africa has:
Sterilised 3,787 cats and dogs
Microchipped 2,950 pets
Provided sanctuary to 192 unwanted dogs
Successfully adopted 125 dogs and 63 cats into loving homes
We are also very proud to announce that we were awarded two LUXlife awards:
All of this has been made possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the unwavering dedication of our team.
We are confident that the mission of this project resonates with pet lovers across the globe and we hope they will support our cause in whatever way they can - helping us move closer to a future where no pet in our area of operation is homeless.
Many thanks.
Yours sincerely,
Allan Perrins
