Dear Friends,
Let me start by thanking everyone who has donated towards our project.
We are currently $4,879 shy of our $5,000 goal, but we remain optimistic that once donors see what we have achieved over the past 10 months, they will be encouraged to contribute to our initiative aimed at ending pet homelessness in the Cape Metro.
Since January 2025, the Animal Welfare Society of South Africa has:
Sterilised 3,288 cats and dogs
Microchipped 2,512 pets
Provided sanctuary to 179 unwanted dogs
Successfully adopted 113 dogs and 38 cats into loving homes
All of this has been made possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters and the unwavering dedication of our team.
We are confident that the mission of this project resonates with pet lovers across the globe and we hope they will support our cause in whatever way they can - helping us move closer to a future where no pet in our area of operation is homeless.
