Project Overview

LIFE AGLOW FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION is committed to ensuring that vulnerable and underprivileged children have access to quality education and the opportunity to build a better future.

Through this project, we aim to support 3,800 vulnerable children in Nigeria who face barriers to education due to poverty, lack of school materials, family hardship, and other difficult circumstances.

Education remains one of the most effective ways of breaking the cycle of poverty and giving vulnerable children hope for a brighter future.

Progress During the Reporting Period

During this reporting period, the project has continued to remain a priority for our organization. We have identified children and communities where educational needs are particularly urgent and have continued to engage with families and community members regarding the importance of keeping vulnerable children in school.

However, LIFE AGLOW FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION has not yet received any funding from GlobalGiving for this project. As a result, we have been unable to implement the full project activities at the scale originally planned.

The absence of project funding has significantly limited our ability to provide school fees, learning materials, uniforms, educational support, and other resources to the targeted children.

Challenges

The major challenge facing this project is the lack of funding. Many vulnerable families are struggling to meet basic household needs, making it difficult for them to provide the educational necessities their children require.

Without financial support, many children remain at risk of missing school or continuing their education without essential learning materials.

How Funds Will Be Used

Once funding becomes available, the project will prioritize:

• School fees and educational expenses for vulnerable children.
• School uniforms, shoes, books, and other learning materials.
• Basic educational supplies needed for effective learning.
• Support for children from extremely vulnerable households.
• Community-based educational support and outreach.
• Monitoring the children's educational progress and wellbeing.

Impact Expected

With adequate funding, LIFE AGLOW FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION expects to reach more vulnerable children and help remove some of the financial barriers preventing them from receiving an education.

The project will provide children with greater opportunities to remain in school, learn effectively, develop their skills, and work toward a more secure future.

Looking Ahead

Our goal remains to reach and support 3,800 vulnerable children. We are hopeful that support through GlobalGiving and generous donors will enable us to begin implementing the project at the intended scale.

We sincerely appreciate GlobalGiving for providing a platform through which organizations like ours can connect with people around the world who care about vulnerable children.

Although no GlobalGiving funds have been received yet, the need remains urgent, and LIFE AGLOW FOR CHILDREN FOUNDATION remains committed to doing everything within its capacity to ensure that vulnerable children have access to education.

Every child deserves a future. We believe that a child's circumstances should not determine whether they have access to education.
