Dear friend!
With your support, we continue the practice of dog-therapy at the Orphanage for children with disability. Children, despite severe developmental disorders, there are improvements in the motor, emotional spheres, in socialization, intellectual development.
At the last lesson Gleb again rushed first to the dogs. At first I took a long lead on a leash, each time it turns out all the better. I also learned how to give commands - and this is Gleb's work! And he still managed to lie on the rug, for a long time, thoughtfully, he worked everything himself.
Olga again crawled away from us - she is blind, so her tactile sensations are sharpened. Dogs are too strong stimuli for its receptors. But, after lying down for a bit, Olga began to smile - it means she is already pleased, and further success will be.
Another Gleb, younger, also blind, participated only 2 times in the sessions. Last time he was frightened, he was constrained and could not go beyond the usual poses. But this time everything was different - he was already completely calm and relaxed, immediately began to work out the very centering of the body, to babble, to iron the dogs. The therapist helped to relax his legs and arms - Gleb smiled, the ice broke!
We worked with Sasha for a long time ago - but she immediately remembered the dogs, reached for them, agreed to the rug, independently worked everything, smiled. What was our surprise to learn that the girl is very capricious and capricious in contacts - she can not even be transferred to another group, where she is unfamiliar with teachers. But with dogs and us she communicated completely without complexes! Dog-therapy miraculously helps in the socialization of children.
And Timur, adoring dogs, as always had everything - played with different toys and a cane, lay down. Although the guy has the strongest spasm of all limbs – but he can more and more with the help of dogs.
We sincerely thank you for your support of our project on the Global Giving!
