Help to100 most disadvantaged orphans (disability)

Dear supporters,

In May, we provided two sessions of Dog-therapy in Orphanage 8 in Moscow with the assistance of Sunny Dogs. Beautiful warm weather allowed for a large part of lessons to be held outdoors. After the children excitedly met the dogs, the children were shown how to work with the dogs. After which, the children were ready to play with the dogs in the ring and walk them on a leash.

• At first glance, it seems like a simple exercise walking a dog on a leash, but for these children, it opens a whole new world to them.

• The dog's movement helps the child not only begin to move in a different pace and rhythm, but becomes his guide in the world.

• The movement of children, at this point, is rhythmic, confident and calm.

• They are became more focused, attentive and more productive. Some of the children managed not only to perform the exercises, but remembered some of the sign commands and had time to work out with the dogs.

Cartoons on the big screen

Children from Orphanage 8 and Almazovskoj School visited real cinema! It was the first time for most of the children to be in a movie theater and watch a movie on the big screen. For them it is a new experience to see the bright, colorful images! Happy to sit on pillows and chairs, they intently watched the cartoon from the beginning to the end, which doesn’t happen often!
