Our house hosts over 30 girls who have suffered abuse, abandonment or girls that were at risk in their communities. Over a year and a half ago the government suspended all type of economical support to every nonprofit association in the State and we are struggling to support the house operation. We are looking for help to continue with our mission and to try to lower our operating cost by making building improvements such as insulation, roof repair and replace non efficient appliances etc.
Our home can host up to 60 girls, currently we are only able to host 50% of our capacity. We are struggling to meet our operating costs do to the lack of Government funding and the high operating costs of our inefficient building. This disables us to operate at full capacity and has been limiting our ability to welcome more girls that need our help to transform their lives and find a better future.
Preparing the girls to become self-sufficient and independent is our mission, by reducing the operation costs and making our building more efficient we will be able to allocate our Limited resources in the right direction; Enabling us to reach our full capacity and make a lasting Impact in the lives of these and other young girls who drastically need our help.
During our 68 years of operation, we have achieved over 500 successful reintegration cases of young women into their families and communities. The outcome of our work throughout the years inspires us and the team behind our home to continue this mission and keep striving to improve the life of young women that are suffering in our community. With your help we will be able to open our doors to more young girls and keep forging a better future for them.
