Thank you for your support of this new initiative from the Syria Justice and Accountability Centre.

Over the past quarter, SJAC’s team has been working to analyze over one million Assad government documents to compile information about Syrians who went missing after being detained by the Assad government.

Our data analysis team has so far created 350 missing persons case files detailing arrests, transfers, and deaths of detainees while in custody. As this project progresses, we hope to use these case files to inform families about the fate of their missing loved ones.

Thank you again for supporting our efforts to bring closure to the families of the missing.
