On September 17, at RACI, we had the honor of speaking at the training session Trends in International Cooperation: Key Insights for Project Presentation, organized by Fundacion León Tucumán and the State Prosecutor's Office of the Province of Tucumán.
On September 20, we had the honor of participating in the Annual Fundraising Congress organized by Aedros, where we led the workshop “Redefining International Cooperation: Innovation and New Trends for Fundraising.” In this session, we discussed the latest trends in International Cooperation: localization, locally-led development, and decolonization. We shared innovative tools to help participants align their projects with current funder expectations and optimize their fundraising efforts.
We also had the pleasure of celebrating the first and second ABC sessions with globalgiving! In this exclusive session for our members, alongside the GlobalGiving team, we explored the main features of the platform, its multiple benefits, and the power of crowdfunding to boost the impact of organizations. We also delved into the first steps for joining the platform and the various ways GlobalGiving strengthens the work of #CSOs, opening up new funding opportunities.
We were present at the Professional Development Fair for Social Careers! On Friday, October 25, we participated for the second year in the Professional Development Fair for Social Careers at DiTella University. Throughout the day, students were able to join various panels and workshops and connect with organizations at the stands to explore professional opportunities. At RACI, we showcased our network work with Civil Society Organizations and invited students to join our volunteering opportunities as a professional practice in the thirdsector.
With the support of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires we organized the training cycle: Transform Your Work: Strengthening Strategies for CSOs consisting of 5 modules on various topics:
1) Strategic Planning: The idea was to help CSOs to anticipate changes, adapt to complex social scenarios, and strengthen the organization to face the country and region’s challenges.
2) Access to resources and project management: This module offered opportunities to strengthen skills and increase the impact of the initiatives of the CSOs through access to funding and how to best draft proposals.
3)Strategic Communication: We covered tools and essential tips on how to best draft a communications plan, starting from the right diagnosis, how to handle internal communications and finding and building the right audience for our messages.
4) Leadership in CSOs: In this module we went over how to identify a leader, what qualities stand out and which are the most important to foster inside of the third sector.
5) Artificial Intelligence for CSOs: We explored how AI can enhance strategies and optimize the organization's daily work. We went over how to leverage technologies to strengthen your fundraising efforts and proposal creation.
We look forward to seeing what the next year will bring, ¡see you in 2025!
