When the State of Oregon needs to cut spending, they look to the elderly and people with disabilities to make the sacrifices. Early in 2010, people with disabilities were threatened by measure 66 and 67. People with disabilities missed the ax by a yes vote.
Now, 6 months later after Ted Kulongowski ordered another 9% cut, the emergency Legislature Board met and gave these vulerable people a reprieve.....until Febrary, with final cuts in June.
TVW needs your help now more than ever.
