Dear donors,
We are happy to share good news with you. We have just started with the planning and agenda of three open community activities, specially designed for young people. We will be working in III OPEN SPACE, with more than 300 youngsters, who are willing to think and share their views and desires on youth work inclusion.
These activities will take place in alliance with public secondary schools, sport clubs and social field organizations. With the support of the Goverment of Buenos Aires and the Dirección de Fortalecimiento para las organizaciones de la Sociedad Civil we are now in the process of setting the dates for these activities.
What is an Open Space?
THE ONLY LAW: THAT OF THE TWO FEET
If at any time you feel that you are not learning or contributing anything, use your two feet. Go to another meeting where you
can learn or contribute. No one should be in a meeting that they consider boring, only people who are genuinely interested in the topic should attend a meeting.
The 4 principles:
1. Any person who appears at a meeting is the right person.
2. What happens here will be the only thing that could happen. Be aware of what is happening now, and not what could happen
3. Any time you start is the appropriate time.
4. When [the meeting] is over, it's over. It encourages participants not to waste time and, on the contrary, to change to another topic when a discussion ceases to be fruitful for them.
We are thrilled to be just to start these new activities with this new creative methodology. We will be sharing news soon with the results!
Many thanks!
