Look what we can do together!
We are happy to report that Bonnie & Clydes previous owners accepted a guilty plea for animal neglect last week. They will not be allowed to own horses for the maximum under the law, of 5 years. They also will be on probation for 2 years and owe us restitution (unlikely that we will see much of it) for the cost of their care. We are very honored to work with Wasco County Sheriffs Office and appreciate how much they care about the horses in their community.
Bonnie was recently adopted by a girl who absolutly cherishes her! Clyde is still waiting for his new home. Can you help us spread the word? Due to his age (late twenties) we are looking for a retirement home for this sweet guy. He would be a wonderful companion to any horse! His foster home has been amazing and she willl continue to care for him. We would all love to see him in a home where he can enjoy a little more turnout and grass.
We are so very fortunate to live in a community that stands up beside us to say no to horse neglect. Together we are making a difference!
Thank You!
