Help send 50 girls back to school in Zimbabwe

Greetings to you all, Dear friends of FAWEZI.

We are pleased to inform you that the Ordinary level results were released in January and our girls did well. As shared in our previous report seven of our beneficiaries sat for their final Ordinary Level national examinations. They sat for between six to ten subjects each.

FAWEZI is happy to share that out of the seven, four of the girls attained more than five subject passes and they qualify for Advanced level or tertiary education at Colleges and Polytechnics. The girls and their guardians are extremely grateful for the support that you have offered to them through FAWEZI.

We have been in contact with the girls offering career guidance for those that hope to proceed to tertiary level. Our resources are not enough for us to support them further in terms fees for tertiary and advanced level. We also have been linking them to potential opportunities that can assist them achieve their dreams and referrals for further support. We are grateful to your continued support.

FAWEZI is also encouraging the three girls who passed less than five subjects to go back to school through formal or Non formal entry so that they can supplement and hopefully attain the required minimum of five Ordinary level subject passes.

Currently the schools are closed and will be opening on the 7th of May, however FAWEZI has already received a list of girls who require financial assistance for their school fees. We implore you our dear friends to continue giving to this cause so that we continue to support the girls in need.

Overall, FAWEZI is immensely grateful for your continued support. We implore you to continue supporting our cause as we help our girls to attain a basic education qualification. Our greatest hope is to be able to help more disadvantaged girls some of whom constantly knock our doors appealing for assistance.
