Greetings to you, dear friends of FAWEZI.
We hope to find you in good health.
FAWEZI is excited to give a report on our progress since the last update shared earlier in the year. Our previous report indicated that we began 2022 with two beneficiaries and we are happy to say we still are supporting them. One is in Primary School and the other at a local Teacher’s College. We have formally not enrolled more beneficiaries although we have a waiting list from which to pick. FAWEZI anticipates receiving more funds from you so that we can make yearly bursary commitments to the chosen girls. More and more vulnerable girls and teen mothers continue to knock at our doors for financial support for tuition fees, uniforms, stationery, sanitary pads, and even food. As of now, we have not made solid commitments as we wait for our resources to improve, to enable us to even pay for examination fees for those starting in the examination classes. We remain grateful for all the support we have received from you all under this project and as always, we implore you to continue supporting our cause as we help our girls to attain a basic educational qualification. We believe indeed that education is a powerful tool in the empowerment of girls and young women. Our greatest hope is to be able to help more girls who are at risk of dropping out of school or those that have already dropped out.
Together we can!!! Once again, Thank you for the support.
