Women for Women Rwanda has signed an agreement with a digital training partner to digitise 500 savings groups. Staff training has taken place, and preparations are now underway to train digital champions, the group representatives who will lead the roll-out of digital record-keeping within their savings groups.
This marks the next step in moving women-led savings groups away from error-prone paper records and toward simple, reliable digital tools that improve financial accuracy and reduce conflict within groups. As more digital champions are trained, more women will gain the skills and confidence to manage their savings digitally and build on the financial opportunities this creates.
Thank you to everyone supporting this project. Your generosity is helping rural women in Rwanda take the next step toward stronger, more transparent savings groups.
