The emergency situation caused by the flooding of the Paraguay River and the heavy rains continues to challenge hundreds of families in the town of Remansito. Given this, people respond and prepare themselves with solidarity and organization.
In the Community Center focuses its focus mainly on children, who in the emergency live in a situation of great vulnerability. It offers children and their families conditions for containment, training and information related to risk prevention, emergency preparedness and response due to the flooding of the river.
According to the hydrometric report prepared jointly by the Directorate of Meteorology and Hydrology and the National Emergency Secretariat (SEN), the Paraguay River was to reach a maximum height of 7.20 meters at the beginning of June in the capital city.
