Help 1,300 children & their families during floods

Dengue and chkungunya are viral diseases that are verypresent throughout Paraguay, especially in flood-prone areas where the accumulation of water and waste facilitates the transmission of diseases and, in the case of dengue and chikungunya, the reproduction of  Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, which are the transmitters. of these viruses. 

For this reason, awareness-raising activities such as the ones we were able to carry out in schools in the Remansito area are very necessary. On this occasion, with girls and boys from kindergarten and first grade, with whom we share a space to tell tales and stories that at the same time will teach them how to prevent these diseases. 

The last months of 2022 were, as usual, full of fun and interesting activities in the Remansito community.

Taking advantage of the Christmas festivities, several courses were held where girls, boys and adolescents, and their families learned to make ornaments to decorate their homes, as is customary this season.

The choir and guitar students who attend the local community center had their closing act of the class period, as well as the traditional visit to the houses of the neighborhood to see the nativity scenes and sing Christmas carols.

In this way, we say goodbye to 2022 and welcome 2023 with plans to continue working and learning together with the community and each Remansito family that joins our projects.
