There is an ongoing need for humanitarian aid for people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic and political upheaval in the country. Many people have lost their jobs and homes and lack the resources to survive these events without help. AIL facilities are surrounded by large numbers of families in tents who seek aid on a daily basis.
Most recently, AIL distributed 70 large food kits to displaced families. Each kit contained flour, rice, cooking oil, beans, sugar, tomato paste, detergent and hygiene supplies such as body soap and shampoo. In addition, AIL’s emergency aid program distributed food packs to 200 poor families. The clinics provide medical care and health information to these families.
