Help to Rebuild Three Primary Schools

We are now into the next phase of the building of a pre-school and primary school at Tansghart and the whole area has become a construction zone. The scale of the new facility is impressive. 

It is a huge undertaking and our thanks go to the brilliant team on the ground, helping to keep the project on schedule as we keep reaching new milestones. Whilst building is on course, the scale of the construction has developed which means more landscaping and equipping will be required further along. In turn, this boosts local employment and more children will benefit from the facility when it is ready.

Fatima from our team has been busy delivering new supplies to our other schools and temporary classrooms supported by this project. Alongside the rebuild of Tansghart, we are now consulting with education leaders in the small village of Ouaoussaft to help accelerate the construction of facilities for the classrooms there. All of this is only made possible because of your support and generosity and we extend our profound gratitude.

Our educational projects are essential to transforming the future of young people in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains. Right now, your donation is crucial to help us rebuild schools where they are needed most. 

This week, the diggers moved in to Tansghart village where we are constructing a large primary school and pre-school for 250 children.

This is the first time Tansghart village will have a facility for early learning, helping to give younger children a strong foundation for future success and providing practical support to parents in work or training.      

We have already completed construction of a modern primary school building in Imi Oughlad where it has been a delight to see how motivated the pupils are to learn each day. The school has become a heartbeat for the local community.

By equipping children, girls and boys, with the resources to develop a whole range of skills and learning experiences, this school becomes so much more than just a building.  

Following the earthquake that struck parts of Morocco two years ago, this project brings hope for a safe, bright and healthy future for young learners in the High Atlas Mountains.
