Our Farmers Have Started Harvesting Honey!

We are thrilled to share a major milestone in our beekeeping project—our farmers have begun harvesting honey! On Sunday, February 16, 2025, two of our dedicated farmers, Joselyne and Shakira, successfully harvested honey and beeswax from their hives.

Joselyne carefully selected only two pieces of wax that contained honey, ensuring that the remaining wax stayed in the hive for future production. Her mindful harvesting resulted in 2 kilograms of honey and wax. Meanwhile, Shakira collected an impressive 6 kilograms of honey but, unfortunately, discarded 4 kilograms of wax that contained bee larvae.

As we celebrate this exciting progress and want to once again extend our heartfelt appreciation to you for your support to this project. We look forward to more successful harvests in the coming months!
