We are thrilled to share that the fundraiser for Oleksandr Tymoshchuk has been successfully closed and we are deeply grateful to every person who contributed through a donation, a share, or a word of encouragement. This result belongs to all of you.
Oleksandr's rehabilitation course at the Agape Center is already underway. He works hard every day alongside the center's specialists, and his motivation and determination are truly remarkable to witness.
At the same time, the rehabilitation team has recommended extending the course. The actual cost of treatment turned out to be higher than initially estimated — 140,000 UAH instead of 112,000 UAH and additional sessions are needed to continue his recovery.
Oleksandr currently faces significant challenges with verticalization and even maintaining a seated position. There is notable tension in his arms that limits movement. Continuing the sessions is essential to gradually improve his tolerance for physical activity, reduce arm tension, and restore their function.
An important part of the extended program also involves training Oleksandr's mother — teaching her how to properly care for him at home, how to position him safely, and how to assist with movement. This prepares the whole family for the long road of care ahead.
This course is just the beginning, but it is a very important one.
