Ukrainians after serious injuries (amputations, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries) need long-term professional rehabilitation. We are raising funds for a full rehabilitation course for 5 people at the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center to help them regain mobility, independence, and return to active civilian life.
Ukrainians are suffering from extremely complex injuries that were almost unheard of before: loss of multiple limbs, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries. After hospitalization, they require long-term physical and psychological rehabilitation, but access to it is limited due to cost and lack of specialized programs.
We are funding a 30-day course at the Western Rehabilitation and Sports Center, where each patient receives an individual approach. Thanks to professional assistance, beneficiaries improve mobility, learn to use a wheelchair, reduce pain, and master self-care skills.
The wounded are working again, studying, starting families, and playing sports. This strengthens the economy, strengthens communities, and creates a culture of support and resilience. They become agents of change and role models for others, which helps build a strong, cohesive society. We are investing not only in the health but also in the dignified future of the wounded, who have already contributed to the freedom of Ukraine and the world.
