So far, we have reached over 100 people directly and more than 500 people indirectly through various communication channels.
- Street Drama Event
The Women Welfare Foundation organized a street drama in the community (Bagnaha Village, Thakurbaba Municipality). Over 80 people came to watch. The audience included women, girls, local youth, students, social workers, the ward chairperson, and police officers. The drama showed real-life problems faced by women and girls. It highlighted the need for everyone to work together to protect women's and girls' rights and stop gender-based violence.
- Radio Discussions and Upcoming Program
We spoke about our projects and initiatives on-air, reaching thousands of listeners. This helped spread important messages about women's rights. We are now finalizing content for a month-long radio program. The program will focus on raising awareness about gender-based violence and the harmful effects of early child marriage. It will share simple information, real stories, and ways communities can help prevent these issues.
We will continue to leverage such activities to support our mission to empower women and girls, promote gender equality, and build a safer society for everyone.
