COVID-19 has made resources scarcer than ever before for low-income girls, boys and young people who suffer from cancer in Mexico. With your help, we can support the 1,200 children we have in active treatment and the 4,800 children we have in present remission.
In Mexico, child cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death among the little ones. Each year, around 5,000 new cases are diagnosed and the survival rate is less than 50%. However, if detected, diagnosed and treated on time -and consistently-, it can be mostly curable.
With you donation, we can strengthen our second guideline, 'Early Care', and provide special studies, medicines, prostheses and endoprotheses.
Increase the survival rate of low-income girls, boys and young people who suffer from cancer in Mexico. 'Where you live in the world, should not determine whether you live in the world.' -Bono
