All thanks to you! A Specialized Medical Care Unit now provides Timely Care to Severely Disabled,Mentally Challenged Children.
Yes, we'd like to personally thank you for your great generosity which has helped us set up a specialized medical care unit for our severely disabled, mentally challenged children. As one of our benefactors, you've shared in our trials and now it's time to share in our joy.
As you are aware, our 105 children have been through so much... looking at them today, one would hardly imagine the horrors they've been though. When these children were brought to us, most of them arrived in desperate conditions, having endured rejection, abuse, and unimaginable hardships. Several had serious medical conditions that required immediate attention. At our home, we nurtured, fed, clothed, comforted, and medically treated them to the best of our abilities.
It's a known fact that the life expectancy of such children is much shorter than that of the general population. And those who are immobile tend to have an even shorter life expectancy than those who are mobile. Several of these children still require tube feeding or assistance which being fed; these are the ones that suffer the most and are more vulnerable during times of epidemic or disease. And due to the nature of their disability, these children tend to fall ill easily and require constant medical supervision; they need to be taken to the hospital for regular checkups,follow-ups, and treatment regimes. And sometimes, despite our very best efforts, we weren't able to get them to a hospital on time.
But here's where you stepped in to make a radical change!
Through your generous contributions, we've now opened up a specialized medical care unit on our campus itself, which is saving precious lives and contributing to the overall improvement in health of these destitute children.
Although these children may be written-off by society, nevertheless, they are precious human beings needing constant attention and care. Your sponsorship has made a huge, life-changing impact for which, the children and myself, want to say a big,"Thank You".
