The Original volunteers continue to send medical students who are currently benefiting from this rural health post set up by gaining some experiences and helping the communities.
Hannah, Pippa, Amar and Philip worked and enjoyed this community with their local health post which is progressively improving.
Since they are students they encouraged them, worked with them to project the yard from stray animals, like horses, cows sheep and goats. The carried out an intensive health education and health survey in the Mbosha village.
Hanna and Pippa also stayed in this community and worked with them on HIV/AIDS education which was a challenging project. It turned out that most of them had not heard about HIV/AIDS and prevention openly for the first time, and had been told not to talk of condoms.
They were supported with some essential drugs and gloves. Philip, another volunteer worked on development, good record keeping, and management in the health post. Women were encouraged to keep on with the project despite the slow nature of the progress being made. We hope that as donations continue to happen, we will keep on with the work especially the improving of the condition of the building.
Luke one of the volunteers who came in only for two weeks was very satisfied and challenged with what the poor women could do just to help the entire community and for the future generations as their objective. He declared that he will be coming back in June 2013 to work and set up many things that can improve the health post and the health of the community.
We would appreciate any additional or new assistance to this project. May God bless you especially the charitable hands that gives cheerfully, willingly and for the sake of humanity.

I am delighted to report that Mbosha women community Health centre continue to survive and expanding its services with the help of our donors through the Global Giving initiatives.
We sent in one of the women for Primary Health Care training. This is because we were able to transfer from one of the Members house in to the permanent site and a lot of progress is being recorded interms of deliveries, child welfare and general consultation.
Regarding the construction we were able to complete the Kitchen and added some beds for admission of patients. Our sincere thanks goes to all those who have been supporting and also to those who donated and still recommended this project to their families and friends to support their chosen cause.
We continue to receive and work with volunteers from Oringal volunteers Uk. They very much appreciate the work and the way the Global Giving funds are being used. Here below are some of the pictures we took while at the Mbosha Community women Health Centre.
Our ex-volunteer still from UK sent some few packets of Pacetamol and cocodamole including a nice path lock for the Health centre as you can see on the below pictures. Some of the pictures shows the weign of children at the child welfare exercise during our visit.
We pray for more funds so as to complete plastering and the ceiling including the flooring work. May God bless you all.

I am very grateful to report on the above titled project. Firstly, I would like to thank the supporters of these projects who have lifted these women to becoming pioneers of a women managed Health Centre in the district.
Since the last report, we have recorded enormous progress and achievements.
We moved from one of the Community member’s house to the new building. Since we moved in, we have recorded a remarkable increase in deliveries, Antenatal Clinics, Admission and child welfare activities.
I would like to report here that we were not able to plaster before moving in, we decided to get in as we solicit for funds. The current in crease and step up in activities may ameliorate the income for more local funds raising for enhance the progress nature of the work.
Our next report shall be followed by the most recent pictures.
Thanks.

After the GlobalGiving representative’s visit, the women redynamized their spirit of work. From all the reports posted in the project page, the women have always been at work. The most recent funds disbursed by the GlobalGiving has enabled them to complete the Kitchen for the Patient Carers, and some local beds for the Health Centre.
We taught we would move onto buying the sand but the committee decided to make the beds because the road is very bad for truck to get to this village.
We have therefore been able to move another step forward by improving the house and making ready the beds pending grass mattress that have been ordered from a local grass mattress maker. In our next reports we will have the pictures of the beds and mattresses because they will soon be brought and mounted in the Health centre.
We are happy to report that support being given to these women is very highly appreciated by them. It is really encouraging them to get on with all what they can do by themselves or locally with the available financial resources and progressively.
We thank all of you who are supporting this project and those yet to do so to have confidence that their hard earned money is being used for the service of mankind. Also this is being invested in a project that will serve generations after generations.
May God bless all of you as you continue to support and recommending this project for more support.
