With thanks to the global giving team I hereby, present a report for Help Mbohsha women Build a primary Health centre. We kept on working and encouraging the health care of the area through the efforts of the women who have been managing this health centre for the benefit of the entire community. Our volunteers from UK were very grateful to work in this project. A lot was done in the aspect of free consultations, diagnosing common diseases of the area, Antenatal clinics, children welfare clinic and antinatal clinic. At the tell end were surprised last month with huge amount of money donated to this project by "Womanthology," We are glad to report that presently there is serious work going on in the Health Centre because of this wanderful financial support. Our current volunteers from UK are happily involved in helping the wormrn by participating fully in the plastering, carrying of water for the work that is going on. To end up with the existence of this wanderful project, most women have been empowered. Here below are the activity pictures of the project indicating serious plastering work in the project to be followed by flooring etc. The Volunteers are glad and have promise to continue helping the women through Global Giving with their individuals donations. We thank all other donors who have ever contributed to this project and most especially the Womanthology that has made the project to be currently being improved. Thanks for reading our report and do get back to us if you need more information.

It is my pleasure to report once again on the progress being made on this project.   Mbosha women contiue to work very hard on this project as  the services being given by the health centre is helping a wider community.   This time, we are working with the Government to this health centre a new impetus to be giving them some technical assistance.

This is because, we have worked so hard and the structures are ready and almost ready to admit patients and offer more services and even to a wider community.

This summer we have arranged for Volunteers from Uk to work in  this community and to also give some capacity building to the local nurses who are locally trained.

The staff who works as the chief of post was invited for HIV/AID training seminar in the Life Abundant Primary Health Care centre so as to have basic knowledge in other to pass same to those who visit the health centre and especially to the those who come for antenatal clinic.

Thanks to those who have been supporting this project as the women are happy to see that the project is in a slow and steady progress.

May God the Almighty continue to bless the cheerful hands that have support it, and also direct more to support this project so that by ow next year, the project should be closed.

Pictures shall be available i our next report because we have very slow lines and  it is not possible for pictures to be uploaded.

We promise to continue working hard.

I am once again very happy  to report about his project and most especially on the wonderful work one of  volunteers from the Uk and a student in the University of Sussex. Hanna first came to Cameroon through Original Volunteers and discovered this hard working women and what they have been struggling to do.

She is working with them at this moment developing the documents of this Health Centre .  She has brought our the forms on which they should record their information like the number of deliveries, people attending antinatal clinics, consultation etc.

She is storming the community with HIV.AIDS  education.  The women are being encouraged to work hand in glove with the neighboring villages so that more people can be attended  in the domain of primary health care.

She is also working on sourcing out the means to acquire HIV/AIDS testing kits for voluntary counseling and testing in the days a head.

Our next report will brig all her  activity pictures  with these women.

Even though the construction is un plastered because they don't have the funds to do so, they are doing the best to serve the poor class of people as people do not like to be admitted because of the cold, uncemented floors and without ceiling.

We pray that as some few donors have started supporting this donors, it should continue so that the next disbursement can enable them to  get sand, cement  and plaster  and equally cement the floors and put the ceiling.

Thanks to the few donors who have joined this cause.   Helping a woman is helping the world.

Mbosha women remain very active in their project especially with the concern that most of our vounteers have ashowned in the past.  The donations that has come so far has gone to hep this women though at a very  premitive set up, our vounteers are working with them to educate most of the communities on the need for bringing health services nearer them.

A team of our volunteers  from Uk have been following  them up.  Hannah who is a student in the University of Sussex enjoyed working with this women and particulary in this project.  Because of her report regarding the Health Centre and a need  for  a volunteer to work with this community, she  has been officially  assigned by the University  of Sussex to come  back in January  for Internship.

Thanks to those who would like to support her in this project.  Those have donated are high appreciated as usual as we still call on them to ask their friends and relatives to support the cause which they  had chosen.

God Loves a cheerfull giver.

The Original volunteers continue to send medical students who are currently benefiting from this rural health post set up by gaining some experiences and helping the communities.

Hannah, Pippa, Amar and Philip worked and enjoyed this community with their local health post which is progressively improving.

Since they are students they encouraged them, worked with them to project the yard from stray animals, like horses, cows  sheep  and goats.  The carried out an intensive health education and health survey in the Mbosha village.

Hanna and Pippa also stayed in this community and worked with them on HIV/AIDS education which was a challenging project.  It turned out that most of them had not heard about HIV/AIDS and prevention openly for the first time, and had been told not to talk of condoms.

They were supported with some essential drugs and gloves.  Philip, another volunteer worked on development, good record keeping, and management in the health post.  Women were encouraged to keep on with the project despite the slow nature of the progress being made.  We hope that as donations continue to happen, we will keep on with the work especially the improving of the condition of the building.

Luke one of the volunteers who came in only for two weeks was very satisfied and challenged with what the poor women could do just to help the entire community and for the future generations as their objective.  He declared that he will be coming back in June 2013  to work and set up many things that can improve the health post and the health of the community.

We would appreciate any additional or new assistance to this project.  May God bless you especially the charitable hands that gives cheerfully, willingly and for the sake of humanity.
