Help Mary take her first steps

Thanks to your ongoing support through the GlobalGiving platform, little Maria was able to complete another important rehabilitation course.

Maria has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis. For her, every rehabilitation course is a new step in development, a chance to strengthen her skills and move closer to independence.

During this stage, Maria attended:

• physical therapy,
• massage therapy,
• speech therapy,
• sensory integration sessions.

This course was individually tailored to best support her physical and speech development.

Thanks to the completed procedures, we are already seeing great improvements!

• Maria has become more active and attentive.
• She developed a pointing gesture - an important step in communication.
• She began to produce more new sounds.
• She is calmer and more confident in her movements.
