The girl from Ukraine, Mary, urgently needs treatment. She has a severe diagnosis of cerebral palsy (CP). She cannot speak, sit independently, turn over, or walk. The funds collected through the project will go towards intensive rehabilitation to help her take her first steps and say her first word, "mama."
The war has affected all Ukrainian children. They've heard sirens and explosions, seen death and suffering around them, lived in bombshelters, and some have permanently lost a loved one. Mary in the most difficult situation: in poverty, immobilized, without the possibility to vital medical treatment
All together, we will give Mary the opportunity to complete full rehabilitation courses at a certified medical center, socialize, improve their quality of life and health, and receive psychological support
Our goal is to raise the overall level of medical care for children with disabilities in Ukraine to international standards. We believe if kids get therapy ontime, they learn to walk, control their own bodies, relieve spasticity, which will ultimately help them socialize in society.
