A young girl from Ukraine, Margarita, urgently needs treatment. She has been diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy (CP). Due to weakened muscles caused by the disease, it is incredibly hard for her to stand or sit on her own. Specialists' help is now indispensable.
The war has affected every Ukrainian child. They have heard sirens and explosions, witnessed death and suffering around them, lived in bomb shelters, and some have lost loved ones forever. Margarita is in the most difficult situation: living in poverty, immobilized, and unable to access essential medical care.
All together, we will give Margarita the opportunity to complete full rehabilitation courses at a certified medical center, socialize, improve their quality of life and health, and receive psychological support
Our goal is to raise the overall level of medical care for children with disabilities in Ukraine to international standards. We believe if kids get therapy ontime, they learn to walk, control their own bodies, relieve spasticity, which will ultimately help them socialize in society.
