Dear Supporters Many thanks for your generous support that has helped Pump Aid to reach 5 poor rural communities in Mzimba, Malawi. That is over 1250 people having gained access to safe drinking water with an Elephant pump, adequate sanitation with the Elephant toilet and improved health through planting of nutrition gardens. This integrated approach will ensure the maximum benefits are reaped by these communities.
Your support has helped people like Constance, who use to walk over 5 miles to the nearest source of water, where she would often wait up to 2 hours in line to get her bucket filled. Now it takes her a few minutes to walk to the Elephant pump that is near her home, where she can go as many times a day to fetch water and the best bit is there is no queue!
Many thanks again for you support.
