Children's Hospice Foundation in Wroclaw takes care of the children from the Lower Silesia District in Poland who are in the terminal stage of cancer, children with all types of genetically conditioned neurological disorders and heart defects.
Our doctors, nurces physiotherapists travel to their wards every day, being on duty 24 hours a day so that chidren and their families can feel save. There are a bit less than 300 children under our protection.
Our goal is to limit the suffering associated with disease as much as we can.
Thanks to the money we had recived from GlobalGiving during the last two month we could pay for the rehabilitation of 30 hours of our children.
Laura was one of them.
Two years ago this charming girl could walk, but the now it's impossible. She could sit down with the support and move only crawling. She has a muscular atrophy which destroys her mucles and body so quickly. The only good think is that she doesn't take pils but as doctor says it will change in the nearest future because the pain will come.
Two times a week she has the rehabilitation with our stuff but if we have more money we could do it even once a day which will slow down her disease.
Please donate our project and we together could help children who are under the protection of our Foundation with the rehabilitation.
