Haiti Map
Following the 2010 earthquake, twenty-eight of Haiti’s thirty-two’s universities were destroyed, leaving the dream of many to attend college and obtain advanced degrees a mere dream. Because the country has been able to rebuild the universities and infrastructure remains one of the country’s greatest problems, students are forced to explore other options, including leaving their home country for a better education and a life. LCM believes that it is important to introduce all resources and programs that will allow these young men and women to pursue an advanced degree while living in their own country, and eventually help bring greater prosperity to all in their community. LCM has partnered with the University of the People, a nonprofit located in the United States that is able to offer eligible students an online college education. In time, students will graduate with degrees in business administration, computer science, or health science.
Please help us to provide doors of opportunities for the students in Haiti.

Health Care and Nursing Training
By Dale Moyers | Administrator
Another project being put together for Life Connection Mission is a Health Care and Nurse Training Program.
The overall vision and mission is to assist in the health care/nursing training and community outreach. We hope to provide nursing education to those who want to learn the basics of being a Nursing Assistant and educate the community, as far as providing educational seminars. These seminars can center around health, diet/nutrition, hygiene, first aid, and wound care. In the future, we can also cater to the community's needs as it arise. We plan to utilize films, hands on activities, handouts, and/or other interactive tools. We prefer to use the resources within the community, including those which are already at the LCM clinic and school, to keep things as cost-effective for the mission as possible. We believe that if you educate the children and women in the community, they can serve as "health care disciples" because they are key to dispelling the cultural myths within the Haitian community. Luke 6:40 says, “A disciple is not greater than his teacher, but everyone when fully trained will be like his teacher.” Through educating the community, I envision that each person will serve as a healthcare ambassador in Haiti.
