Since our last report, we have still not received any continued support from donors through the GlobalGiving platform. Despite this, The Ark Foundation Ghana remains committed to supporting the women in this project.
We continue to provide modest capital support to help them start new businesses or strengthen and expand businesses they already operate. We have also increased the amount of capital support by 50% from the initial amount we were able to provide. This increase is helping the women make greater progress toward financial independence and rebuilding their lives.
However, there is still much more that can be done. We therefore encourage anyone who comes across this project to donate and share it with their networks, partners, family and friends to help reach a wider audience and support more women.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
