Humanitarian aid has transitioned into continuous assistance. We support the Ukrainian community, which faces numerous challenges, including access to medical care, job searching, and integration with the Polish community. Recently, we have carried out the following activities:
1. Psychological support for children and adults from Ukraine.A psychologist specializing in working with children and adults was employed. They diagnosed emotional and educational challenges faced by children and proposed tailored therapy to address individual needs, helping them cope with trauma and stress. In addition to emotional support, the psychologist also assisted children in adapting to the Polish education system. Therapy included individual and group sessions aimed at enhancing emotional stability and supporting academic and social integration.
2. Food collection and distribution along with additional medical supplies. This was a key element in supporting people in challenging life circumstances. To ensure efficient implementation of this initiative, we collaborated with supermarkets as part of a food waste reduction program and organized the distribution of food.
3. Polish language courses. Designed with a focus on labor market needs, these courses provided adults with an excellent opportunity to improve their qualifications and increase their employment prospects. With well-designed teaching methods and practical exercises, the courses enabled participants to effectively acquire essential language skills that could be immediately applied in the workplace.
