After the start of the war, the foundation created the project "HELP UKRAINE! STOP WAR!" which already provides humanitarian assistance to children, medical institutions, wounded and civilians affected by hostilities in Ukraine. Through the war in Ukraine 6 million Ukrainians need medical care. Doctors remain in their understaffed offices and work overtime. In addition to the wounded, there are also non-transportable patients in medical institutions.
As of 24th March, 64 hospitals were bombed and those that are still operational, face the increasing number of injured, including those in critical conditions. Therefore, currently there is a very significant shortage in medicines, disposables and equipment. Our foundation assists the hospitals by providing them with medications, medical supplies, medical equipment, food and groceries.
At the moment, 21 hospitals from 5 regions of Ukraine have applied to our charitable foundation for help: Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv. And requests for help from hospitals continue to arrive. We estimate that there are more than 4,000 patients in these hospitals on an ongoing basis. Apart from the injured, there are also non-transportable patients, pregnant and postpartum women.
