A refugee and displaced persons camp has been established on the outskirts of Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso. The camp currently shelters approximately 450 individuals, including many children. These refugees have fled from the northern regions of the country to escape ongoing terrorist attacks.
Current Situation
The displaced population in the camp is in dire need of basic necessities. The primary needs include:
- Food: Regular and nutritious meals to sustain their health and wellbeing.
- Hygiene Measures: Essential hygiene products to maintain cleanliness and prevent the spread of diseases.
- Clothing: Adequate clothing to protect against the elements and maintain dignity.
- Education: Access to education for the children to ensure their continued development and to provide a sense of normalcy and hope for the future.
Objectives
The main objective of this project is to provide comprehensive support to the refugees in the camp by:
- Ensuring a consistent supply of food and clean water.
- Providing necessary hygiene products such as soap, sanitizers, and menstrual hygiene products.
- Distributing clothing suitable for all ages and weather conditions.
- Facilitating access to education for the children in the camp.
Fundraising and Resource Allocation

The funds raised will be directed to missionaries who are on the ground and capable of efficiently managing the procurement and distribution of essential items.
