1. Introduction
This report provides an update on the progress of the Rise 4 Women's Rights: Justice & Equality, Nigeria project. Our mission is to promote gender equality, protect the rights of women and girls, strengthen access to justice, and empower women through education, leadership, economic empowerment, advocacy, and community engagement across Nigeria.
Although we did not receive external financial support during this reporting period, we remain committed to advancing this mission through our internal social enterprise, volunteer network, and ongoing community outreach.
2. Appreciation to GlobalGiving
We sincerely appreciate GlobalGiving for providing a trusted platform that enables grassroots organizations like ours to connect with compassionate supporters around the world.
Although no external donations were received during this reporting period, we remain grateful for the opportunity to share our mission globally. We are confident that future partnerships and donor support will help us expand our work in promoting women's rights, gender equality, and justice.
3. Funding Status
During this reporting period, the project did not receive any external financial donations through GlobalGiving.
Despite this, implementation continued through the support of our internal social enterprise, volunteer network, and community partners. We carried out community outreach, advocacy, awareness campaigns, and programme planning to promote women's rights, gender equality, leadership, and social inclusion.
4. Project ActivitiesWomen's Rights Advocacy
We continued advocating for the rights, dignity, and equal opportunities of women and girls through community engagement and public awareness activities. Our advocacy promotes respect, inclusion, equal participation, and the protection of women's rights within families and communities.
Community Outreach
Our volunteers engaged community members, youth groups, women leaders, faith-based organizations, and local stakeholders to promote awareness of gender equality, women's leadership, and the importance of creating safe and supportive environments for women and girls.
Women's Leadership and Economic Empowerment
Planning continued for programmes that will strengthen women's leadership capacity, entrepreneurship, vocational skills, financial literacy, and economic empowerment, enabling women to become more self-reliant and active contributors to community development.
Health and Wellbeing
Through our internal social enterprise, we continued promoting Samony Natural Nutraceutical Diet Products, nutrient-dense fortified food products, and nutrition education initiatives that contribute to the health and wellbeing of women, girls, and vulnerable households.
5. Social Enterprise Support
Our internal social enterprise remains the backbone of this initiative by providing in-kind resources, volunteer support, technical expertise, research, innovation, and operational assistance.
We also continued community outreach while integrating women's empowerment into our broader programmes on nutrition, entrepreneurship, food innovation, youth development, and sustainable livelihoods. This integrated approach enables us to address multiple barriers affecting women while building stronger and more resilient communities.

Despite limited financial resources, the project has continued making meaningful progress.

The absence of external funding continues to limit our ability to expand community outreach, legal awareness programmes, leadership training, vocational support, and economic empowerment opportunities for women.
Additional donor support will enable us to reach more women and girls, strengthen advocacy efforts, and provide sustainable empowerment programmes across Nigeria.
