We hope you and your families are all doing well in these challenging times.
So glad to be back with the GlobalGiving Family after being caged for almost 3 months by the novel Covid-19.
Things have changed dramatically since Rwanda’s lockdown and all schools closed on first week of March. Families had to adjust to remote learning, working from home, and more due to the countrywide quarantine.
It truly takes a community and it begins with one person loving and sharing what he or she has. That’s the importance of our work which is even more vital in these unprecedented times. Thank you for being there for us and helping to keep Esther’s Aid visible on your platform!
REPORT:
This brief report spans from January 2020 to March 2020 when the complete lockdown took place.
In the last quarter of 2019, we completed laying of the bricks for Classroom Building #2. Between January and February, 2020, we were able to complete the roofing of Classroom Building #2. This brings us to a total of 10 classrooms in building #2.
We were looking forward to raising funds to do the interior finishing of the classrooms and other components of the infrastructure. Though there is a global economic downturn, we are optimistic that every part of this work will be done and completed someday with the support of our friends, helpers and committed supporters.
We still have a long way to go. But we are optimistic that we will get there!!!
