Happy New Decade! One of the great blessings at this time of year is the chance to connect with you, my friends, supporters and family. Many thanks to our donors from GlobalGiving for contributions towards Esther’s Aid Village of Peace Infrastructure. We want you to know that we kicked off 2020 with joy and great expectations, because of the progress at the construction site.
The construction activities are ongoing. The school block with 10 classrooms is already roofed and other activities are in progress. This quarter, we will be working on the interior finishing of the classrooms and landscaping of the area. At the completion of this phase, it will help to ease the classroom space challenges.
To shine more light on Esther’s Aid Village of Peace Infrastructure in Kigali, we want our donors to know that the construction work is divided into 3 phases. The reason is, we depend on donation to complete one phase before we move to another.
Each year, the students’ intake increases, but we can’t bite more than we can chew. Which means, we register less students because of space constraints.
Our Challenge: Funding for this project has been an uphill task to the point of embarrassment, but with our GlobalGiving donors’ sustained support, we believe every single component and phases in this major project will be completed. Our dream will come true.
Esther’s Aid takes this opportunity to thank everyone who is contributing and donating to support the Village of Peace project. God bless you!!
