Dear friends, donors, and colleagues,
We are very pleased to let you know about the receipt of EURO 10,000 funding from the German Embassy in Dushanbe for the renovation of the surgery and resuscitation units of Devashtich District Central Hospital. We will use this funding for renovation of the two operating theaters in the surgery unit and four wards in the resuscitation unit. The works include installation of new water and sanitation facilities, replacement of electricity system, coverage of the walls and floor with tile, and installation of water taps and sinks in the wards and surgery theaters. We recently started the renovation activities and look forward to mobilizing more funding for the finalization of the renovation and partial equipment.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for your generocity and continued support. We would appreciate it if you could take a second to spread the word about our initiative to enable us to mobilize more funding for better access of rural people to quality healthcare services in Tajikistan.
