Student Meal Program
Thank you for your continued support. Since completing the project in 2021 which included donating over 1,500 books, three laptops, a printer, and teaching supplies, we have expanded our support to the school of Kuru Kururu Primary School. In March we started a nutrition program to support students in need. We are not providing weekly meals to over 30 students. To date we have served over 240 meals to students. Having access to a healthy meal program increases student attendance as well their ability to focus on retain information learned at school. Thank you again for all your support. We will continue to update you on our progress as the school year progresses.

I would first like to thank you for your generous support to help educate the 1,100 students that attend Kuru Kururu Primary and Secondary School. This is a school with very limited resources and a large population of students that come from low-income families.
To date we completed the purchase and shipment of laptops, a printer, learning materials to support the students and teachers of the school. We have shipped these items along with 1,500 books to create a library for the school as well as provide books for classroom learning. Blossoms travelled to Guyana in June 2021 to donate the books, equipment and school supplies for the school.
Best,
Sharon Bollers

I would first like to thank you for your generous support to help educate the 1,100 students that attend Kuru Kururu Primary and Secondary School. This is a school with very limited resources and a large population of students that come from low-income families.
To date we have purchased three laptops, a printer, learning materials to support the students and teachers of the school. We have shipped these items along with 1,500 books to create a library for the school as well as provide books for classroom learning. The shipment contained mostly new books which included specialized books which are designed to teach students how to read. Within the coming weeks, volunteers from Blossoms will travel to Guyana to donate the books, laptops, printer and learning materials to the school. We are very excited to be able to finally get back to meeting with our partner schools and the students.
Once we have completed the project, we will follow up with a report detailing our work.
Best,
Sharon Bollers
