Thank you so much for donating to AMANTECH!
It is due to donors like yourself that we are able to continue transforming the lives of the underprivileged youth of Pakistan. Below is a story of one such indiviudal:
“AMANTECH helped me develop into who I am today,” says Husain, a former AMANTECH student who currently works at the Central Ventilation System (CVS) in Sharjah. Part of a family of six, Husain the eldest amongst his four siblings, always wanted to make a difference in his life and that of others.
“While studying at AMANTECH, I strongly felt that I needed to do something for others,” asserts Husain. “Our mentors always said, ‘support others as Aman has supported you’,” reveals Husain who believes, it was this intense feeling of giving back that enthused him with the desire of doing something for another less fortunate student who due to his circumstances could not study at AMANTECH.
With a special emphasis on employment of students, AMANTECH graduates have been employed in different firms’ locally and internationally. He feels blessed to be part of an Institution that took special interest in his development and well-being, as the difference after graduating was evident. Training in Soft Skills, English and Computers, he feels played a very important role in landing him a job at CVS. “It was through these peripheral courses that I learnt many things,” he says. Making his CV, sitting an interview and basic rules of effective communication were imbibed by him via these academic modules.
Disclosing his feelings for those who cannot afford this course he says: “AMANTECH helped build our lives via this course; I want to help develop others.” Husain has pledged to donate his salary towards paying the fees of a needy student who wishes to graduate from AMANTECH. He believes, just being able to build another’s dream would be a token of gratitude for all the blessings he has received via Aman.
