Hi Everyone,

It’s time to share some news from our protected kids, taking this opportunity to which you all an Happy, Healthy and prosperous New Year, hope that you enjoyed this holiday period with your family and friends.

Currently the weather is bad, lot of humidity, overflood and rains days so the kids are mainly doing indoor activities.

As you can see in the first pic we took this indoor time to clean, reorganize,  and prepare the toy library for the New year event.

We also organized a clothes distribution to the poor peoples in our district area, because with the unexpected weather lot of people was without proper clothes to protect them (coat, sweater…winter clothes)

You can find some pics attached as well

In the next pics you’ll find the preparation of the Christmas dinner, we all enjoyed some nice food and friendly moment together.

Then we also organized some indoor sessions of meditation, check the pics too, really proud of the level of mental focus they was all quiet and Zen

Hope to be able to go do activities outside very soon, currently the road are flooded, the water doesn’t flow properly mainly because of the road conceptions, and people start to have some dermatology issues due to the stagnant water, we are controlling that regularly and thanks to our external contact who are sending us some medications where we are not able to find it here. Really appreciate your help here too.

That’s it for today, we’ll be back soon with more activities and pics, wishing you again a wonderful New Year and we hope to see you in person…

Dear readers ;

To follow our quarterly routine we are happy to come to you with some news from our protected kids…

We are back to schoool the kids are happy to finally go back to school after that covid period, it was a great celebration and lot of happiness, I’m sure that you’ll enjoy the pics shared,

Lot of emotions, joy, all was really happy to meet again their friends.

Then as usual we did multiple activities, some regular with our Saturday book reading in the library, help other poor kids around the orphanage and prepare eats 3 days every week, we also organized a museum visit, with pottery found in the parfum river, so much wonderful days and happiness shared together, and this happen mainly because of your help…

finally we also celebrated the Mid-Autumn festival, also known as the Moon Festival, it is a traditional festival celebrated in Chinese culture. Kids built Lanterns of all size and shapes, symbolic beacons that light people's path to prosperity and good fortune. Mooncakes, a rich pastry typically filled with sweet-bean, egg yolk, meat or lotus-seed paste, are traditionally eaten during this festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival is based on the legend of Change, the Moon goddess in Chinese mythology.

That’s it for today, we are already excited to tell you the next adventures,

Once again thank you for your confidence, thank you for your donations, thank you to be here for the kids…

With lot of love

Hello everyone,

it's time to give you some news from our protected kids :)

let's start with the gardening & orphanage cleaning exercise :) every year after the moonsoon season we are doing a very big cleaning/gardening exercise, mainly to avoid the dengue sick, the kids are highly participating with us on it and we are taking this opportunity to give some learning on "how to" & "why it's important".

following this period we again had a covid wave here, and unfortunately most of the kids were positive to covid, nothing strong just few symptom but in a result we had to do again school at home for all :) during this 2 weeks periods we stay confined so we tried to busy them with some vegetable collect, gardening etc...

finally covid gone away and kids went back to school and swim in the river,

after 3 years of covid we finally had our first trip at the sea with the kids, they was soooo happy and we had a lot of fun all together.

last but not least we took some pics from the graduation ceremony for our kids, another great and proud moment for all of us... we are sooo proud from the kids, they are working hard to be well at school and reach their dream work.

they are currently preparing the next trip with some camping session :) but i'll show this in our next newsletter :)

thank you all again for your support and maybe you'll visit us soon ? :)

take care

Happy New Year
Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all

Starting this newsletter by wishing you all a wonderful year health & happiness to each of you !!

As every year we started the New year by sharing the red envelop to the kids, hope you remember the story of these envelops I shared last year ? to make it short, this represent the happiness and the luck for the new year, and this New year is the Tiger year.

For this event we together made the traditional cakes for the new year, it’s always a great moment spent together.

The first days of the year as a tradition in our orphanage, it’s a day dedicated on the hometown historical memory, we usually spend that days visiting cultural place in the town and share the history about these places. The kids appreciate a lot these moments.

Also this time we would like to share our daily routine before prepare the dinner, yes yes see the pics it’s in the orphanage garden (remember the plantations we did last time…all grow well so since, we daily go and collect the plant and vegetable for the day, the kids are happy and proud to tell that this grow thanks to them

As usual we also shared food & milks to the poor family, and as you can see the pics, the kids have been very helpful

Just few words about the covid situation here, in the Orphanage and around the situation is pretty ok, even if the cases are increasing these days but no strong cases in the orphanage, most of the adult are vaccine now, the only issue right now is the lack of tourism due to this situation, the borders are closed since a while now and the people who was depending of the tourism are highly impacted and situation is going critical for them. We are of course helping and doing food distributions, helping the kids for clothes and medical urgency but the need is huge.. we all pray to have the normal life back again.

And again without you we would not be able to help all these kids and families so a BIG thank you for each of you and we again wish you a wonderful year…and we hope to see you in Vietnam soon if you come to Vietnam you can visit us !!!
