Theatre goes on

By Leila Ismailova | Project Leader

Our theatre classes started with the beginning of the year. We dreamt about this project and saw in our dreams our little actors learning new things and being able to show their talent!

The first aim at the beginning of the work was to reveal the potential of each child, his interests, behavior and devotion. During our classes we used lots of different stage properties: glove puppets, books about animals, tales and animal figures. Our acquaintance with theatre also included shadow theatre puppet – that was an interesting opportunity to see theatre in a new way.

Now 2 groups of children have theatre classes. We can already see that after 2 months of work children started to communicate with each other (which is difficult for them), they started to follow the rules of the game. That helped children to develop their attention, volitional powers and communication skills.

Theatre specialist and children even created a fairytale for the puppet show! Using improvised materials we created extraordinary puppets and requisite for our puppet show.

We find it exceptional and very important that children altogether work on one idea and with common efforts create materials and everything necessary for the performance!

"Shag Navstrechu" would like to thank all of our dear friends, who supported us and our children and helped us to make their future bright and interesting!
